Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp.

    melted butter

  • 24

    soft slider rolls, split

  • 8 oz.

    thinly sliced sharp Cheddar cheese

  • 8 oz.

    dill pickle slices, drained and patted dry

  • 2

    plum tomatoes, seeded and very thinly sliced

  • 8 oz.

    thinly sliced smoked ham

  • 1 Tbsp.

    dried onion flakes

  • 2 tsp.

    poppy seeds

Directions

    1. Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Brush bottom of 13-inch by 9-inch baking dish with half of melted butter. Line dish with bottoms of rolls.
    2. Step 2Onto rolls in dish, layer Cheddar, pickle slices, tomatoes and then ham. Replace tops of rolls. Cover dish with foil; bake 20 minutes.
    3. Step 3Meanwhile, combine dried onions and poppy seeds. Uncover dish. Brush tops of rolls with remaining butter. Sprinkle with dried-onion mixture. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until deep golden brown on top.

Nutrition Information (per serving): About 300 calories, 12 g protein, 29 g carbs, 15 g fat (8 g saturated fat), 1 g fiber, 600 mg sodium.
