Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 2 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. ground beef chuck or ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup seasoned (Italian) breadcrumbs
  • salt

Directions

    1. Step 1Place a large cookie sheet in oven; preheat to 450 degrees F. On a large sheet of parchment, stretch and roll pizza dough to a 13" circle. Top with mozzarella, tomatoes, red onion, and pepper.
    2. Step 2Combine beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, and a pinch salt; form into 1" meatballs and place on pizza. Spray pizza with nonstick cooking spray. Carefully slide pizza on parchment onto preheated cookie sheet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until bottom of crust is deep golden brown.
