Ingredients
For the Rosemary Simple Syrup
- 1/2 cup
sugar
- 1/2 cup
water
- 1
sprig fresh rosemary
For the cocktail
- 2 oz.
gin
- 1 oz.
fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz.
Rosemary Simple Syrup
Smoldering rosemary, for serving
Directions
Make the Rosemary Simple Syrup
- Step 1In a small saucepan, simmer sugar, water and rosemary until sugar has dissolved, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature; strain.
Make the cocktail
- Step 1In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake gin, lime juice and rosemary syrup. Strain into a glass filled with ice and garnish with smoldering rosemary if desired.
