Ingredients

shallot, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups
dry sherry wine
- 1/2 cup
sherry vinegar
- 2 Tbsp.
brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp.
cold unsalted butter
- 1 lb.
Kosher salt and pepper
Directions
- Step 1Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan on medium. Add shallot and cook until tender, 4 to 5 minutes.
- Step 2Add sherry wine, vinegar, and brown sugar and simmer until syrupy and reduced by ¾, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Step 3Whisk in butter, then toss with green beans and ½ teaspoon each salt and pepper.
