Ingredients
- 1 lb.
cranberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tsp.
finely grated orange zest
- 1 cup
fresh orange juice
- 3/4 cup
sugar
- 1 Tbsp.
grated peeled fresh ginger
- 1/4 tsp.
ground allspice
Directions
- Step 1In medium saucepan, combine cranberries, orange zest and juice, sugar, ginger, and allspice.
- Step 2Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer vigorously, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce has thickened, 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
