Keep this homemade raspberry-lime syrup on hand for adding to cocktails. It would also be terrific drizzled over pancakes, pound cake, or yogurt.

Ingredients
- 1
6-oz container raspberries
- 3/4 cup
granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup
water
- 2 tsp.
lime zest plus 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
Directions
- Step 1In a small saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, and water and simmer (without stirring) until sugar dissolves and raspberries break down, about 12 minutes.
- Step 2Remove from heat, stir in lime zest and juice and let cool to room temp; strain. Makes 3/4 cups.
