Ingredients

  • 2 shallots
  • 1/2 package sliced mushrooms
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 slice Swiss cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp. cream
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    1. Step 1Pulse shallots, quartered, in food processor until chopped; put half in small bowl. To processor, add sliced mushrooms; pulse into bits.
    2. Step 2Mix and form mushroom mixture, ground turkey, and 1/2 teaspoon salt into four patties. Cook in skillet, in olive oil, on medium-high 8 to 10 minutes or until 165 degrees F, flipping once. Transfer to plate. Top each with 1 slice Swiss cheese; keep warm.
    3. Step 3Melt butter in skillet on medium. Add remaining shallot and mushrooms; cook 5 minutes. Stir in flour; cook 30 seconds. Add beef broth; cook 5 minutes or until thickened. Add cream and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper. Serve with burgers on buns.
