Ingredients
- 1 lb. penne pasta
- 2 can tuna
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pitted Kalamata olives
- salt
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
Directions
- Step 1Heat large covered saucepot of salted water to boiling on high. Cook penne pasta as label directs.
- Step 2Heat tuna and crushed red pepper in 5-quart saucepot on medium for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Step 3Stir marinara sauce, chopped Kalamata olives, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Cook 5 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Step 4Add cooked pasta to pot with sauce along with torn fresh basil leaves.
- Step 5Toss until pasta is well coated. Garnish with additional basil, if desired.
