Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tsp. ground chipotle chile
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 lb. spaghetti
- 4 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 4 green onions
- salt
- black pepper
Directions
- Step 1In 7- to 8-quart slow cooker bowl, combine beef, beans, tomato sauce, onion, brown sugar, cocoa, chipotle, cumin, cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon each salt and black pepper; stir together, breaking up ground beef. Replace lid and cook on Low 6 hours.
- Step 2When ready to serve, spoon over spaghetti. Top with Cheddar and green onions.
