This light ranch dressing is quick to make and will surely become a family favorite. Try it on Spicy Shrimp and Greens.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk or reduced-fat sour cream
  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Chives
  • 1 clove garlic

Directions

    1. Step 1In small bowl with a wire whisk, combine low-fat buttermilk or reduced-fat sour cream, light mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
    2. Step 2Stir in finely chopped chives and garlic. Cover and refrigerate up to 3 days.
    3. Step 3Remove and discard garlic clove before use.

      Nutritional information is based on a 2-tablespoon serving.
