McDonald's spent the better half of 2024 teasing us over the rumored return of its cult-favorite Snack Wrap. And while the company's USA CEO Joe Erlinger finally confirmed its return after nearly a decade, he has remained tight-lipped on an official launch date — only acknowledging that it would, in fact, be sometime this year.

"Snack wraps xx.xx.2025," McDonald's ever so casually dropped on X (formerly known as Twitter) in December. "See u next year on xx.xx."

Erlinger also confirmed the return on Good Morning America. Now, McD's has revealed another number in that mysterious date — and it's very telling.

"Snack wraps 0x.14.2025," McDonald's posted on X on April 15. While we might not know the exact date, this confirms that the Snack Wrap will make its way to menus before October, when we would be in the double-digit months.

During a previous earnings call, global CEO Chris Kempczinski expanded on the chain's chicken-focused goals.

"We're excited about the significant opportunity we see within our chicken portfolio and see the potential to add another point of chicken market share by the end of 2026," he said. "This year, there is incredible energy for the return of Snack Wraps in the U.S., along with a few other markets."

In addition to the Snack Wraps and the relaunched McCrispy Sandwich, which has already reached over 70 markets and will continue to roll out nationwide, McDonald's is adding McCrispy Chicken Strips to menus. The Chicken Big Mac will remain a limited-time offering, as well.

The Snack Wrap's return is a long time coming. Over a year ago, in December of 2023, Erlinger promised fans that the menu item would be back...at some point. However, he gave no real indication of the timeline and on what level it would return. Consumers began speculating in July that this could be sooner rather than later after the Snack Wrap's missing link (the McCrispy Chicken) started popping up on menus across North Carolina. Clearly, they were right.

Back in December, fans quickly flooded McDonald's announcement post in glee. "Wait bestie are you serious," one user wrote. "Xmas miracle," another wrote.

"Drooling 4 snack wraps," a third person shared...with an actual photo of them drooling.

According to the fast food joint's marketing director, enthusiastic posts like this inspired McDonald's to bring back the Snack Wraps to begin with.

"If you ever wonder if your posts here matter, if they have an impact, if we even care, let me tell you something, you and you only with your countless posts and requests and petitions made it happen," Guillaume Huin wrote on the platform. "They were in all our meetings, all our discussions, every single PowerPoint to make a case for it. You won, Snack Wrap fans. Thank you."

So...uh...what should we set our sights on next? You heard the man.
