Designed with an emphasis on versatility, it includes seasonal-friendly boots, clogs and sneakers — all imbued with Stewart’s unparalleled style and lifestyle expertise.

Martha Stewart’s collaboration is a testament to her commitment to creating exceptional products that enhance the lives of her audience. Here’s what she said:

Good Housekeeping: What influenced your collaboration with Skechers?

Martha Stewart: “Skechers is a company that is dedicated to comfort. They have special technology that they use in most of their designs, and they have a vast array of styles. They are active with color, with design, with high-fashion implementation. It is very fun to work with them because they listen.”

GH: With what would you pair these shoes?

MS: “People wear their business suits with sneakers these days. Many of the shoes I’ve been working on, some of the slip-ins, have a light texture to them. They go a little dressy or with slacks. They can be worn with jeans or with work clothes. They are versatile.”

GH: If your Skechers collaboration was a recipe, what would it be?

MS: “A salad. They can be a salad that you can dress up or dress down, you can add to or take away. Like the Pier Lite-Cozy High with a little fur cuff, those are very cozy; they look cute with a pair of jeans. You can put them on when leaving the office or jogging to your transportation. I do a lot of gardening and a lot of outdoor stuff — I find the Easy Going – Winter Road boots very useful. The Plateau platforms look like the highest-end sneakers — the back of the heel is gorgeous. You can wear them with an evening dress because they have a thicker platform, so you have a little bit of added height. They fit very well and they are very chic. I’m staying in the genre of comfort and utility, but also adding a little bit of high fashion.”

GH: Did you and Snoop Dogg consult with each other about your respective Skechers collabs?

MS: “I brought Snoop in and he got really excited. Snoop lives in L.A. and I just got a box of his initial collection in my size. They are cute. They are more sporty, more for the active, athletic person than my collection, which is for the working woman that really has a lot to do in a day. His are very different, but we do compare notes.”

GH: Shoes on in the house or off?

“Off. We have a no-shoe policy. In my house in Maine, shoes are left at the door, but you can have any of these shoes if they are only worn inside the house.”
