When it comes time to get gifts for kids this year, shoppers are in a lucky position: There are so many good toys hitting shelves this holiday season! And to help sort through them all, Amazon has stepped in with its annual "Toys We Love" list, featuring some trendy toys and best-sellers that are a hit with kids.

The Good Housekeeping Institute also evaluates toys year-round in the run-up to its own Good Housekeeping Best Toy Awards, and it's seeing many of the same trends that Amazon is. This year, kids love adorable plush of all shapes and sizes, especially if it features their favorite characters. DIY kits and building sets give kids a chance to let their creative juices flow and work with their hands. And there are a bunch of toys that let them take their favorite digital worlds — like Roblox or their favorite YouTube channels — and bring them into the real world. From STEM sets to sensory toys to board games and popular best-selling toys, these are some of our favorite toys from Amazon's 2024 Toys We Love list.
