Fans of the Christmas movie Home Alone are going to flip for this super-detailed LEGO version of the McCallister house. This giant 3,957-piece set is filled with characters and props from the classic film, including the spider, paint cans and flying iron, so you'll be able to recreate all of Kevin's hijinks with the Wet Bandits.
The roof and walls of the house are built on hinges so they open up to reveal the multi-level home, and each floor is completely detachable. The basement furnace even features a LEGO light brick that illuminates and looks like fire!
But this isn't just a static set meant to be displayed — it also features interactive pieces, including an iron that drops, a zipline that attaches to Kevin's treehouse, collapsible shelves and swinging paint cans. There's even a lever you can push which allows Kevin to sled down the stairs.
While the house is super impressive, it's the minifigs that really make it over-the-top. Kevin and his mom both have double-sided heads that can be turned and changed to their classic screaming expressions. Marv's head also flips, so once you swing the iron at him, you can reveal the red imprint across his face. Wet Bandit Harry and neighbor 'Old Man' Marley are included as well, so you can bring the movie to life in LEGO form.
Make this a pre-Christmas activity with the family and assemble it together while watching the classic movie (and the sequel), or consider giving it as a gift to a Home Alone fan. And since LEGO Ideas sets are typically only available for a limited time and often sell out, don't wait too long!
