Some Evenflo Transitions 3-in-1 Combination Booster Seats have an increased risk of injury in the case of a crash, according to a recall announcement from the company. The central front adjuster used to loosen the seats may be within reach of the child, which means they could be able to loosen the internal harness themselves. The company is recalling seats with the model numbers 34411686, 34411695, and 34411029, produced from December 18, 2014, through January 29, 2016.
Evenflo says no injuries have been reported, but they are offering free remedy kits which they say will make it impossible for children to reach the front adjuster. To get the kit, customers can call 1-800-233-5921 or register for them here.
