When she's not writing about decorating trends, gift ideas, and DIY projects, she's putting her expertise into practice in her own homes, fixing up her family's 1930s colonial in Connecticut, and revamping an '80s log cabin in Vermont. She lives with her husband, three young children, and black lab.
