We've been fans of Gabby's Dollhouse, the toy, for years—a previous version, the Celebration Dollhouse, is featured in some of our gift guides and has won an GH Toy Award. This year's dollhouse, however, is another real showstopper. It's inspired by Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie starring Laila Lockhart Kraner (who also voices the animated show) and Kristen Wiig (as the crazy cat lady who covets the dollhouse).
When we tested the 2025 Meow-Mazing Interactive Dollhouse with consumers, the LCD-screen eyes, especially, really captivated kids. When a child presses the pink heart nose, the eyes open and blink. If they hit a button in one of the rooms, the eyes show stories, engage kids in seek-and-find games, and more—there are some 60+ animations.
Other standout features, according to the parents whose kids played with this at home as part of our toy testing, include the Cat-a-vator that goes up and down, the music that plays, the 10 pieces of furniture and accessories, and a slide (not shown). And, of course it comes with a Gabby figure. It's for ages 3+ and requires 3 AA batteries.
Keep spiffing up the dollhouse with balcony playsets and additional rooms of furniture. Most add-ons comes with more figures, too. Find additions to the dollhouse, like a Dreamy Balcony or a Purr-fect Playroom on Amazon.
We think it's going to be a highly request holiday toy, potentially the "big" gift for some lucky fans this season. However, if you're looking to spend less, there are plenty of other great Gabby gear, too. Below, the LEGO set and Polly Pocket set are for ages 4+, and the interactive ears and doll are for ages 3+.
If your kid likes to build, there are Gabby's Dollhouse buildable playsets that also make great birthday and holiday gifts. If a kid likes Gabby and her cats, there's probably no such thing as too many ways to play.
